Kids in the Garden

3 Part Class - Tuesdays at 2 pm

May 21: Soil Matters, Planning your garden, seed starting

May 28: Weeds, Water, Garden Maintenance, Potting up

June 4: Ecological Impacts, Gardening for Wildlife, Community Impacts

Join us for some fun afternoons working in the garden and learning how to care for plants and the world around you! Each week take home a special project.

This class is geared towards kids ages 6-12.

*Please use your judgment as a parent and sign them up for the classes that fit their development stage. Ages are not strictly enforced.

Please complete ONE FORM PER PERSON attending the class.

Little Labs (Ages 2-5)

2 Part Class - Wednesdays at 2 pm

June 12: All about Dirt

Join us for some fun afternoons working in the garden and learning about growing gardens. Come prepared to get messy!

This class is geared towards kids ages 2-5

Late summer we will be hosting dried flower classes. Check back for more updates soon.

Classes will include information on what flowers to grow for drying, how to dry and handle dried flowers, and a hands-on workshop creating your own garlic braid with dried flowers. Refreshments will be included.

Are you a school, homeschool group, daycare, church group, etc looking for an educational field trip? Contact us to discuss your group’s needs. Pricing will be negotiated on a case by case basis.

Part of our mission at Hillside Harvest Farm is to be a blessing to the community by providing opportunities for fellowship, networking, and education.
